“Adopting Maisie has been an absolute joy for our family! We spent several months looking for a dog to adopt that would fit in with us, and from the moment she came into our lives, Maisie has brought so much love and happiness to our home. Melvin
“I will be forever grateful to Whitney and team for bringing Melvin into my world. She literally picked him up off the street! When we connected, I was on the fence about whether or not it was the right time to get another dog. With my aging (and often grumpy) dog Marvin in the house, it had to be the right time and the right fit. Melvin, being the charmer that he is, obviously had other ideas. As these stories often go, it was a no-brainer after our meet & greet.
But we both wanted to do right by the dogs. Whitney asked all the right questions and was patient and thorough as she answered all of mine. It didn’t take long for everyone to see this was a perfect fit. Melvin is hilarious, energetic (in a good way), and the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. For context, I’d only seen Marv snuggle with one other dog ever, and that took months. So when Melvin won him over after about a week, it told me all I needed to know.
Whitney has continued to stay invested in Melvin’s success long past my bringing him home. It’s amazing to work with a rescue organization that does things the right way, for the right reasons. I could not recommend them enough!”
Bronson a.k.a. Bronny
“It’s hard to believe we are coming up on four years with Bronson. I still remember getting Whitney’s call asking if we could help house him while she looked for an owner. We reluctantly said yes but let her know it wasn’t the “right time” for us to get a dog.
